Prop firm comparisons

The same account, two rulebooks. Each comparison puts the drawdown mechanic, daily limit, consistency rule and targets side by side — because that is what decides who gets paid.

Why rules beat reviews

Most firm comparisons rank on price, payout split and platform. Those matter once you are paid. Before that, the only thing separating a passed account from a failed one is which limit you touch first — and that is a structural property of the rulebook, not a matter of opinion.

A trader who gives back open profit will struggle at an intraday-trailing firm and be comfortable at an end-of-day one, with exactly the same strategy. That is worth more than a star rating.

FAQ

How do you compare prop firms here?

Rule by rule, from the same presets Propbook uses in the app: drawdown type and amount, daily loss limit, consistency rule, minimum trading days, account sizes and profit targets. No affiliate rankings, no "best firm" verdicts.

Are these comparisons sponsored?

No. Propbook is independent and carries no prop firm affiliate links. The comparisons exist because the rules decide who fails, and the rules are rarely laid out side by side.

How current are the numbers?

They are typical values for each firm's standard accounts and they stay editable in the app. Firms revise their terms regularly — always verify against the account you own.
