Terms of Use

Last updated 2 October 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Propbook website and app, whether you use it as a guest, with a free account or with a paid plan. Paid plans are also governed by our Terms of Sale. By creating an account you accept these terms; please read them — they are short.

Propbook is provided by Kylian Couzon (“we”), whose details are in our Legal notice.

1. What Propbook is

Propbook is a trading journal for prop firm and self-funded traders. It records your trades, tracks prop firm rules (trailing drawdown, daily loss limit, profit target, consistency, payout readiness), sends alerts, offers a coach (Pip) that reviews your own numbers, and — with PropSync and the TradingView webhook — can copy orders between trading accounts you connect.

Not financial advice. Propbook does not give investment advice, signals or recommendations. Nothing in the app, including Pip's answers, is a suggestion to take a trade. Trading carries a high risk of loss. You alone decide and are responsible for your trading.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. Guest mode needs no account and keeps your data in your browser. To sync across devices, use Pip AI, PropSync or Telegram alerts, you need an account with a valid email address. One person per account; keep your password and second factor to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Prop firm rules are estimates

Rule presets (drawdown amounts, targets, consistency percentages, etc.) are typical values provided for convenience and may be outdated or wrong. Every value is editable. Propbook is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any prop firm or broker. Always check the current rules with your firm. We are not responsible for a breached account, a failed evaluation or a refused payout.

4. PropSync, webhooks and broker connections

When you arm PropSync or the TradingView webhook in live mode, they place real orders on the accounts you connect and map. You choose the lead account, the followers, the size multipliers, the guards and the maximum contracts, and you are solely responsible for those settings and every order sent. Orders can fail, be delayed, be filled at a different price or be rejected by your broker or firm. The drawdown and daily-loss guards are safety aids based on the numbers you entered, not a guarantee against a breach.

Many prop firms restrict copy trading, trading the same strategy across accounts, or copying someone else's trades. Check your firm's current rules before using PropSync, and only copy between accounts you own. Start in simulation, and keep the Flatten all button within reach. Broker platforms and their APIs are run by third parties and can change or stop at any time.

5. Pip, the coach

Pip's built-in review runs in your browser. Pip AI (written reviews and questions) sends a summary of your numbers to an AI provider, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI answers can be incomplete or wrong: check them against your own journal. Pip never gives market calls or financial advice, and you can switch it off in Settings.

6. Acceptable use

Don't: break the law with Propbook; access other users' data; probe, overload or bypass the security, limits or plan restrictions of the service; scrape it or copy it to build a competing product; resell or sublicense access; use PropSync to copy trades you don't own or to sell signals; publish a public profile with content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes someone's rights; share your account.

7. Your content and ours

Your journal is yours. You keep all rights to the data, notes and screenshots you put in Propbook. You let us store and process them only to run the service for you, and to show the stats you choose on a public profile. You can export them at any time.

Propbook is ours. The app, its code, design, texts, the Pip character and the Propbook name belong to us. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app while these terms apply. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Propbook available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, and features may evolve. The Free plan has no time limit. If we ever move a Free feature to a paid plan, or stop a feature you pay for, we will tell you at least 30 days before; paid subscribers can then cancel with a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

9. Ending your use

You can stop at any time and delete your account in Settings → Your data; your data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. We can suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you where the situation allows; if you had a paid plan and did nothing wrong, you get a pro-rata refund. Before a closure that isn't urgent, you get at least 30 days to export your data.

10. Liability

We provide Propbook with reasonable care, but trading tools cannot remove trading risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, breached or closed prop accounts, lost payouts, missed or wrong orders caused by brokers or firms, or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited — such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct — or removes the rights consumers have under the law of the country where they live.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before the change applies. If you don't agree, you can stop using Propbook and delete your account; paid subscribers can cancel and get a pro-rata refund.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of France. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts. Please write to propbookoff@gmail.com first — most problems are solved quickly that way.
