What actually separates them
The5ers' presets run about 5% of maximum loss with no daily cap; FundingPips runs 10% with a 5% daily limit. Two opposite answers to the same question — how much should a firm protect a trader from a single session?
The consequence is concrete. At FundingPips, no single day can cost more than half your total room, by rule. At The5ers, one afternoon can take everything.
The5ers also asks a larger target relative to the room — 8% against a 5% drawdown on the $100K — which suits traders who compound slowly and punishes anyone forcing the pace.
Which one suits you
The5ers fits you if…
you size small, hold positions across sessions, and want no daily cap deciding when you stop.
FundingPips fits you if…
you want room to survive a bad day and a rule that ends the session for you when it goes wrong.
Not sure? Run your last twenty days through the drawdown calculator under both rule sets — the same P&L can pass one and fail the other.
Trading both? Track both.
Propbook keeps each account on its own rule set — The5ers, FundingPips or seventeen others — with the room left on every one of them live. Free, no card.

Which has the tighter drawdown?
The5ers, at roughly 5% of the account against FundingPips' 10% — but without a daily loss limit in the preset.
Does no daily limit make it easier?
No. It removes a guard rail. Without one, a single session can consume the entire drawdown, which is why your own daily stop has to exist in writing.
Which target is harder?
Relative to the room, The5ers: 8% of profit against 5% of room. FundingPips asks 8% against 10% of room.
