How to pass Phoenix
A plan built on Phoenix's own rules. The numbers below use the Phoenix 50K account.
- 1
Know the line you can't cross
Phoenix trails your drawdown at the end of the day, from your highest closing balance. Intraday swings don't move the line, but a red close does. On the Phoenix 50K account you have $2,000 of room before a breach.
- 2
Size every trade from the room, not the account
Risk a slice of your drawdown, not of the account size. With $2,000 of room, risking $200 per trade gives you about 10 losing trades in a row before a breach.
- 3
Respect the daily loss
There is no daily loss limit on this account, which makes it easier to lose a week of progress in one session. Set your own stop at a quarter of your room: $500.
- 4
Aim for the target slowly
The target is $3,000. At $600 a day you get there in about 5 winning days, with no single day doing all the work. Phoenix applies a 50% consistency rule: no single day may be more than 50% of your total profit. Spread the gains.
- 5
Learn one model, and journal it
Pick one setup from the ICT path, trade only that, and log every trade. Propbook tracks Phoenix's rules on each one.
