What actually separates them

Put the two account tables next to each other and the targets barely differ. The difference is in when the drawdown is measured.

Apex marks your high water mark tick by tick: an open trade that shows +$600 raises the line, even if you close the day at breakeven. Tradeify marks it at the close, so what happens inside the session costs you nothing in cushion.

Apex also applies a consistency rule on the way out, which means a single outsized day can hold up a payout you have already earned. That is not a reason to avoid it — it is a reason to know the number before you take the trade that creates it.

Which one suits you

Apex fits you if…

You want the widest choice of account sizes, up to $300K, and your style rarely gives back large open profit.

Tradeify fits you if…

You scalp or manage trades actively inside the session and want the drawdown measured only on what you actually close.

Not sure? Run your last twenty days through the drawdown calculator under both rule sets — the same P&L can pass one and fail the other.

Trading both? Track both.

Propbook keeps each account on its own rule set — Apex, Tradeify or seventeen others — with the room left on every one of them live. Free, no card.

FAQ

Which has the harder drawdown, Apex or Tradeify?

Mechanically Apex's is stricter, because it reacts to profit you never banked. Whether it is harder for you depends entirely on how much open profit your style gives back.

Does Tradeify have a consistency rule?

Propbook's default Tradeify account carries none, while Apex's carries 30%. Plans change, so check the terms of the account you actually buy.

Can I copy trades between Apex and Tradeify accounts?

Copying between firms is common, but each account keeps its own rules and its own drawdown, so a size that is safe on one can breach the other. PropSync applies a drawdown guard per follower account for exactly that reason.
