TradeZella
A strong paid journal with backtesting. If prop firm rules are your reason for journalling, here is what paying actually buys.

TraderSync
Excellent broker auto-import, priced partly by number of accounts — which is the wrong axis for a prop trader.

Tradervue
A real free tier, capped by monthly trades. Fine for swing traders, tight for active futures.

A spreadsheet
Free and yours — until the second firm, the second drawdown mechanic and the first missed day.
Compare →The short version
The established journals are good at analytics, broker connectivity and review. Propbook is narrow on purpose: it models the rules that end funded accounts — intraday, end-of-day and static drawdowns, daily limits, targets, consistency, minimum days — for as many accounts as you run, free, and it tells you before a limit is crossed rather than after.
It has no backtesting engine and no broker credentials. If those are what you want, the honest answer is on each page.

Are these comparisons fair?
They are written from public information and they say plainly what each product does better. Propbook carries no affiliate links, and every page names a real reason to choose the other tool.
Is Propbook free?
Yes — journal, rule tracking, Telegram alerts, analytics and CSV import, with no card, no trade cap and no account cap. Paid plans are planned for PropSync and automatic broker sync.
Can I import my data from another journal?
Yes. Export to CSV and drop it in; the common broker and platform formats are detected automatically.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Guest mode runs on your device with no sign-up.
