First, the fair part
Tradervue effectively created this category and its free tier is more generous than most — a limited number of trades per month, forever, with no card. For a swing trader logging a handful of positions, that may be all you ever need.
Active futures traders hit the ceiling quickly, and the paid tiers are priced like the rest of the market. That is the point where it is worth asking what you actually want the journal to do.

Where Propbook is different
No trade ceiling. Log a hundred days or a thousand trades; the free plan does not change.
Built for funded accounts. Each account carries its firm's drawdown mechanic, daily limit, target and consistency rule, and the dashboard shows the room left on all of them at once.
It talks to you. Telegram alerts fire before a limit is crossed. A journal you open in the evening cannot do that.
No public trade sharing. Tradervue's community side has no equivalent here, beyond an optional public profile you control.
Pick Tradervue if…
you value the community and trade-sharing side, you log few enough trades to live inside the free tier, and prop firm rules are not part of your setup.
Try it before you decide
Guest mode needs no account and no card — your data stays on your device until you choose otherwise. If it does not fit, you have lost two minutes.

Does Propbook limit how many trades I log?
No. There is no monthly trade cap and no account cap on the free plan.
Can I import my Tradervue export?
Yes — drop the CSV in. Propbook detects the common formats and falls back to reading the date and realised P&L columns for anything else.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Guest mode runs entirely on your device; nothing is sent anywhere until you create an account yourself.
Is Propbook affiliated with Tradervue?
No. It is independent and carries no affiliate links.
