Alternative to TraderSync

A free TraderSync alternative for funded traders

TraderSync's strength is broker auto-import across a very long list of brokers. If your problem is prop firm rules rather than connectivity, you are paying for the wrong half.

First, the fair part

TraderSync has been around a long time and its broker integration list is genuinely hard to match — if you want your trades to appear without touching a file, it does that well, with coaching and analytics on top.

It also has no free version, only a trial, and its plans are tiered partly on how many accounts you connect. That last detail matters: a prop trader with four evaluations and two funded accounts is exactly the customer those tiers are designed around.

Where Propbook is different

Unlimited accounts, free. The number of funded accounts you run is the thing that makes prop trading expensive to journal, and it is the thing Propbook does not charge for.

Rules, not just statistics. Win rate and expectancy do not tell you that you are $340 from a trailing line. Propbook shows the room left on each account, using that account's own drawdown mechanic.

Import is manual by design. Propbook reads exports from TopstepX/ProjectX, Tradovate, NinjaTrader, MetaTrader, Interactive Brokers and Binance, and syncs MT5 automatically through a free expert advisor — but it does not hold broker credentials. For some traders that is a feature, for others it is the missing piece.

Pick TraderSync if…

automatic broker import across many brokers is the feature you are buying, or you want AI-assisted coaching built into the journal. Propbook's import is file-based, and that is a real difference.

Guest mode needs no account and no card — your data stays on your device until you choose otherwise. If it does not fit, you have lost two minutes.

FAQ

Does Propbook import automatically?

From MetaTrader 5, yes — a free expert advisor sends every closed trade. Everything else is a CSV export you drop in, with the format detected for you.

How many accounts can I track free?

As many as you trade. There is no account cap on the free plan.

Can I import my TraderSync history?

Export it as CSV and drop it in. Days are grouped automatically and existing days are replaced rather than duplicated.

Is Propbook affiliated with TraderSync?

No. It is independent and carries no affiliate links.
