The Silver Bullet
One hour, one draw on liquidity, the first fair value gap toward it.
The Silver Bullet is a time-based model ICT taught in 2023. Between 10:00 and 11:00 New York time (also 03:00–04:00 and 14:00–15:00), he identifies where price is likely to go for liquidity, then enters on the first fair value gap that forms in that direction.
How to spot it
- 1
Before 10:00, mark the nearest obvious liquidity: the high or low price is most likely to run.
- 2
Between 10:00 and 11:00, wait for a displacement toward that target that leaves a fair value gap.
- 3
Enter on the return into the gap, stop beyond it, target the liquidity you marked.
On a prop firm account
One hour, one trade: the model's time limit fits prop rules well. If nothing forms by 11:00, there is no trade, which protects both your daily loss limit and your consistency rule.
